This week we’re bringing War Of Attrition to Galway Theatre Festival.
This is our first time bringing a play out west and we’re really excited about performing in one of our most favourite cities in the country. It is quite honestly the best excuse for a theatrical road trip. We’re just finished our three night run of the show in Kilkenny and we were delighted with the turnout and the general buzz about the show. Now we’re onto the final leg of a war campaign that started with our previews in Thomastown before invading Dublin Fringe Festival and marching back with a spring in our steps for our run in The Watergate Theatre. We’re taking the war out west and we mightn’t be coming back alive! (We hope that doesn’t jinx coming back alive)
It’s very exciting to be part of another brilliant theatre festival and there’s a great line up of shows that we’re looking forward to catching this week. Check out the full programme over at galwaytheatrefestival.com
Our team travelling up this week are the new cast of John Doran, Amy Dunne and John Morton (check out the explosive new poster from Paddy Dunne) as well as our battle hardy crew of Niamh Moroney, Ken McGuire, Niamh Moyles, Lucy McKenna and Adrian Kavanagh. So for anyone reading from Galway or with any sort of tenuous link to Galway, please crow long and hard about the show and come see us get devious in An Taibhdhearc this Wednesday and Thursday October 2nd and 3rd! Night shows are at 7pm and there’s a matinee on Thursday at 1pm so sit down and be counted!
