As part of our ‘In The Future When All’s Well’ season we will be presenting 3 plays in the first 6 months of 2011. There will be more details to come starting on Monday when we launch Scratcher with some very exciting news. But first, here’s a look at the 3 productions that will form the core of our programme for this year.
SCRATCHER – February 2011
They have demands. They have plans. They have guns. They are making the sentence fit the crime. They are bringing the live registrar to life. This is a farce about a farce that gets more farcical by the day.
This is social warfare.
SHIFTING – April 2011
You mightn’t have noticed but there’s an army of youth that roam our city streets. They move in tight packs and they converge in dark corners. They will be like us one of these days. So much time to kill. So little to stay for. They are here, then they are gone. They are never permanent.
We’re only shifting, like.
SMITTEN – June 2011
When we were teenagers we had all these great ideas that our twenties would be a great big song and dance. But in reality, you need to pay the rent, you need to stop dreaming and you need to get real. And then you look back on your teenage years and all you see is singing and dancing and it’s in Technicolor.
There’s no place like home.
