Quarter Of Flood

10257962_637630529648753_3324439431445356442_oThis weekend we’ll be bringing the full production of Some Flood to Cork when we return for this month’s Quarter line up.

Quarter is a tri-monthly mini arts festival taking place at the TDC and Gulpd at the Triskel Arts Centre in Cork. We had a great time down there back in February when Kevin Mooney and John Doran showed a sneak peek at Some Flood in development. Now we’re returning to Cork with the full show for the first time.

10177896_10151996355641746_967947828967288464_nThere’s a brilliant array of work on display at this month’s Quarter and for €5 (a suggested donation) you’ll get more than your money’s worth over the weekend. You’ll also get to see some sneak peeks of new work from a few Deviants. John Doran is presenting a piece of his upcoming one man show. Niamh Moroney and TADA will also be presenting a sneak peek at her new play Yer Wan. There’ll be a decent Kilkenny invasion of Cork this weekend and of course, we urge you to come along and clap and cheer and roar at all the work on display. Here’s the line up for the day:
#TALK [3pm]
Quarter 360° – A relaxed discussion about the nature of Quarter over lunch. How do you see yourself in this picture?
#SCRATCH [4pm]
John Doran / TADA / JACAL Productions
#FILM [6pm]
An Evening with the Derrynane Robot Club: Screening + Q&A Session
#MUSIC [7:30pm]
Cora Venus Lunny – solo violin performance
#Theatre [8:30pm]
Some Flood by Devious Theatre Company
#MOREMUSIC [9.30pm]
Claudia Schwab: Amber Sands Album Launch
#PARTY
Under a Plastic Cloud @ Gulpd til late

Some Flood hits the stage at 8.30pm and we’re really looking forward to present it to a Cork audience for the first time. It’s our first full show in Cork since Phantasm back in 2011 and any excuse to go to Cork is good enough for us.
