We’re delighted to be part of a very special event tomorrow as part of this years Kilkenny Arts Festival.
It’s our first ‘official’ engagement with the festival (outside of the fact that a huge number of our team work on the festival each year) and surprisingly, it’s got very little to do with theatre. Darklight Film Festival are on tour and they are running a very special event focusing on filmmaking talent in Kilkenny. The event is curated by local heroes (and our lovely neighbours) Cartoon Saloon and we were delighted to be invited along to talk about the video promo work that we’ve done on our plays, particularly in conjunction with our friends at Mycrofilms.
We’ll be looking at some of our promo’s over the years as well as a screening of the prologue for Night Of The Living Dead that we made in collaboration with Mycrofilms. It promises to be a really cool event celebrating all that is good about Kilkenny’s creative community. We’ll be hitting the stage of Set Theatre to do some showing and telling at 11am in the morning (it might be nice with a hangover) so come along and watch us on the big screen.
All event details can be found right here.
