The latest of our character introductions for Stags and Hens is that of hens, Carol and Maureen.
Played by Lynsey Moran, Carol is the light hearted (and maybe headed) sweet natured bimbo of the girls. She says exactly what she feels and has a tendency to be blissfully unaware of all that’s going on around her. Except for the fellas. Lynsey Moran has previously appeared with Devious Theatre in Smitten as Ailbe.
Played by Mairead Kiernan, Maureen is the sentimental (not to mention superstitious) one of the girls. Frequently on the verge of happy tears and holding out for her own whirlwind romance, Maureen believes in (and wants) true love. Although with the aid of a couple of Pernod tonight, she’s hoping to find herself a catch. Mairead Kiernan has previously appeared with Devious Theatre in Trainspotting.
